A hotel heats rooms nobody sleeps in, every night.
Save on energy, not on comfort.

The empty room
Empty spaces cool down. Occupied spaces stay exactly as guests prefer.
An empty room, an unused meeting space, or a whole floor is brought down in a controlled way and back up before the space is taken into use. An occupied room is not touched. A room is not sold before it is warm.
The lower limit and the recovery time are sized for the building, and both are measured in your house before the control is switched on.
Your entire hotel at a glance
The heatmap shows every space's temperature in real time. Reception knows instantly which space is ready for the guest.
When a guest asks for a cooler or a warmer room, they can be given the room that already is one.
Temperatures can be adjusted space by space straight from the browser.

Installation
Wireless thermostats attach to the radiator valves and sensors mount in the space. No wiring, no renovation, no downtime.
The pipework is not touched and the existing automation is not modified. No room has to come out of sale.
The measured result
At Finlandia Park Hotel Helsinki in Käpylä, heating energy use fell by 189 megawatt-hours a year, 26 % below the level of the previous three years.
The figure is normalised with Finnish Meteorological Institute heating degree days: consumption is converted to a normal year. A mild or a cold winter does not distort the comparison. The calculation and the full consumption history are gone through in a meeting.
The baseline is the 2021–2023 normalised mean, 722 MWh. The first development version went in during 2024. Improved with the data it produced, Vahtii ran with full control in 2025.
The district heating standing charge is set by peak power, and it came down markedly with it. That is the part of the bill that depends on neither the price of energy nor on use, and the reduction repeats every year.
In the pilot
In the winter 2025–2026 pilot, peak loads were cut and every space was adjusted individually.
Guest satisfaction improved at the same time: complaints dropped when every guest found their space at the right temperature.
